Pearl Aqua Moon (Jonghyun)

I drew Key and Taemin from Shinee (a Kpop group), but it was Jongyhun's face I most wanted to capture. After drawing those two and after I started my oil class, I thought I'd attempt a painting of Jonghyun. Unfortunately, he committed suicide just 2 days after I started it and it was quite a shock. I gave up with that portrait and a year later to mark the anniversary I drew this. Pearl aqua is Shinee's 'colour', and when Jonghyun died fans in Seoul noticed that the moon was a strange green colour so I decided to combine the two and also continue the series of drawings with circles behind the face (see Alex and Jamie Oliver).
