Life class

I've had better days, that's all I can say. I'm happy with her head, and the body is OK after much shading trying to rescue what looked like becoming a disaster, but they don't look like they belong together - the head is too small! Still, it turned out much better than I thought. I was sure this was going to be the one that didn't make the blog. The model is very tall so maybe it's not too bad. HB and B pencil.

This is actually quite beautiful Felicity - the lines around her shoulder and legs are lovely. As usual, you've put in some wonderful detail.
This is beautiful Felicity! You are maybe a bit too sensitive about the head being too small. I find it with beautiful sensibility and lovely shading!

The shading is so wonderful and sensitive as in all your works, Felicity. I only feel that the spacing between the folds on her stomach is a little bit too even. It is just an observation.

Thanks ladies!

Ronell, I don't mind it too much, I just feel I could have done better especially as it was a pose I really liked. Quite often the pose is lying down which I'm not so keen on, effects of gravity on skin and all that, but this one was just perfect!
Andrea, you're right, and it bothers me too but I left it as I ran out of time to finish that area. There is also one extra fold of skin I should have taken out! :)

Just found your blog--you do beautiful work in general and I don't think the head is that small. I love how realistically you shade--you are very talented!
