EDM 139, draw a handle

Here's two for the price of one! This is called a hachoir - something I didn't know until I bought it - for chopping herbs. HB and B pencil.

Thanks so much for your kind welcome to EDM. This is a gorgeos drawing. It has a wonderful softness to it, infusing real beauty into a hard, utilitarian object.

I lived in Leysin Switzerland for a year and grew up overseas (Egypt, Pakistan, Thailand, Germany) It is great to connect with another global nomad!

Lovely work.

You have such a wonderfully sensual, soft touch with graphite Felicity...This is beautiful!
What a beautiful drawing! And it immediately brought my grandmother to mind. She had one of these dangerous things, and she used it to make chopped salad in a big wooden bowl.

Beautiful work, Felicity.
