Not the same Paul as the last drawing, this is my brother. Drawn with Cretacolour Aqua Monoliths on Daler Heavyweight cartridge paper (220gsm) and is quite large for me - 12 ins high.

Felicity, you've managed to impart such warmth into this truly amazingly beautiful drawing. My absolute favourite example of your great talent.
Oh my...It's so still...I feel time has stopped. My God that hair...Gorgeous!!!
Felicity, you are amazing!!!
SOooo NICE!! this is fabulous- you've captured a wonderful expression.
Beautiful - a really lovely captured moment and tremendous expression.
Superb texture in the hair ... Intriguing pose, too, as it's intimate without being intrusive. Can't help wondering what he is thinking! Really outstanding work, Felicity.
this is beautiful. I wish I could see the actual drawing. I look s like a photo
I know i've said it on Flickr, but this is a phenomenal drawing, Felicity. And the choice of a subject looking downward is very powerful. It is a tad reminiscent of the portrait of JFK in the White House.
Thanks very much everyone, I really appreciate it!
France, thanks, that's quite a compliment! I haven't seen that portrait in a while - it's a great pose.
Nice work! I really liked your comments about working more slowly on the Making a Mark blog, I do feel there's a disturbing trend to rush one's work.
Thanks Carol, nice to have you visit!
This is beautiful!!
You're a star! This is amazing. I'm thinking of you there in Geneva and missing Switzerland and wondering if you've been to the new Klee museum in Bern. All his work was being restored in preparation for the new museum when I was there. Wonderful paintings to see in Switzerland though.
Thanks Roshanda!
Thanks Wendy! I hadn't heard about that but I'd love to see it!
I don't know how I missed this astonishingly wonderful drawing before! Wowee!
